This 1819 capped bust quarter is number three in the series after the end of the draped bust quater series that started in 1796 and ended in 1807. So 1815 and 1818 are the first and second in the series and this wonderful 1819 quarter is the third in the series that ends in 1828. This worn cameo appearance is enhanced by its warm coppery overtones mixed with its light gun metal gray base. This series is very collectible for the patient collector. So weather it is a low ball collection or a high grade (or gem) collection the overall value of the collected series can be uniquely crafted by the individual with eye appeal in mind.
