This 1806 half dollar is recognized by a rounded six (as opposed to a pointed six) on the obverse. The next identifier is the lack of a stem in the right facing claw of the eagle on the reverse.  There are less than ten of these coins know in exitance. The coin in the thumbnail sold in Heritage auctions August 14th 2024 ANA sale.  The price is a bargain with the PCGS coin-facts retail price set at $80,000.  There are so few of these coins available for collectors that I expect this coin to resurface for sale in the near future.  Its price performance will depend on getting it into the right auction of capped bust half collectors.
